Maria maintains a successful private practice in Dublin 13, in Counselling, Jungian Sand Therapy, Spiritual Accompaniment, Clinical Supervision, and Cross Professional Supervision. The clientele for therapy includes adults, adolescence and children, couples, families, and students of professional therapeutic courses.

The clientele for clinical supervision includes Accredited Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Pre-accredited Qualified Counsellors And Psychotherapists, and Pre- qualified Students engaged in the study of psychotherapy and counselling. The clientele for cross professional supervision include practitioners from a wide range of services within the professions including business and executive coaches, life coaches, spiritual directors, community workers, people working in the caring services,  people working within the medical field.

Maria’s many qualifications include A Masters Degree in Cross Professional Supervisory Practice, An Advanced Diploma in Clinical Supervision, A Masters Degree in Applied Spirituality, A Graduate Diploma in Humanities, A Diploma in Humanistic Counselling, A Certificate in Jungian Sand Therapy, A Certificate in Facilitation Skills. Maria, as part of continued professional development studied alternative theoretical approaches to therapeutic intervention by attending training workshops in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Relationship Counselling, Psycho-Synthesis,
Stress Management and  Neuro-Linguistic Programming. 

Maria’s theoretical approach is person centred, integrative and eclectic.  She is accredited with The Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), The International Jungian Sand Therapy Association (IJSTA) and is a member of The Supervisor’s Association of Ireland (SAI) 
and an associate of the All Ireland Spiritual Guidance Association (AISGA).
